Chicago Stories

Six new works. Three Composers. Two Shows. One City.

Chicago is home to countless stories. For this project, we asked three Chicago composers to explore the stories of Chicago communities, and to write new music with and about those communities. Join us as we explore and share stories of the "glass ceilings" women of color face as they assume leadership roles; the history of Chicago's Assyrian community and the experiences of immigrants; and the vibrant Pilsen Latin jazz scene through the Alvarez brothers.
